Also, it has a smooth mirror like finish and looks great. Since this model measures 10 inches, it is large enough to re-create a rainfall effect in the shower.

You get a wall mount as well as other necessary accessories that will allow you to quickly and easily install this rain shower head in your bathroom.

The only issues here is that the shower head is difficult to tilt. And even if you do get an arm with this purchase, it isn’t the best quality and lack durability.

One outstanding feature of this model is that the rubber nozzles are built in such a way so that they require little maintenance. Indeed, they can automatically clean themselves whenever you open the water.

The only caveat we have is that you do not get a shower arm with this purchase and you will need to buy one separately.

But other than that, this model is simply superb and one of our best we have ever reviewed both in terms of looks and functionality.

With such a big size, the rain shower head is able to cover a large surface area. Especially if you go with the SRSH-1203 which measures an impressive 12 inches in width.

2. Placement

Unlike the traditional shower head that can be installed almost anywhere, the rain shower head has been mostly designing to fit either on the ceiling or on an arm that places the rain shower head exactly above the head of the user.

Indeed, this horizontal position uses gravity as its ally and pulls the water downwards with force, thus recreating a rainfall effect. In addition, one thing to note is that you do not shower sideways with the rain shower head, or at least, it has not been designed to do this.

3. Water Pressure

Even if the rain shower head is larger when compared to a traditional shower head, it has been designed internally in such a way to create enough water.

First and foremost, you need to ensure that your rain shower head is compatible with your water system. By that, we mean that it should have the necessary connections for connecting it to your shower accessories like a hose.

In addition, you also need to consider the water pressure because a water pressure that is too high for the rain shower head make damage to it. If you suspect that your water pressure is too high, you may always use a water regulator to dampen the water flow.

Installing the rain shower head is not a very difficult task. You do not need any experience to install it in a matter of minutes.

Here is a step wise and DIY manner on how to proceed in the most efficient way when installing the rain shower head in your bathroom.

Step 1: Choose the Right Size

First and foremost, it is important that you measure the dimensions of the rain shower head as well as the space where you will be installing it.

Some rain shower heads are quite big and may have difficulty fitting tight areas.
